Anutin Charnvirakul Showcases Culinary Skills at THAIFAX Event in Muang Thong

Muang thong: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, took center stage at the THAIFAX-ANUGA ASIA 2026 exhibition, donning the role of a chef to grill Wagyu beef and prepare beef fat fried rice. His culinary demonstration was met with excitement from attendees who eagerly captured the moment.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin's visit to the exhibition, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Thanon Charnvirakul and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Mrs. Supajee Suthamphan, marked the final day of the largest food and beverage trade show in Asia. Anutin, dressed in a white shirt with a blue feather pattern, made his way through various booths, engaging with vendors and attendees alike. His stop at the Udom Supply booth, where he grilled Wagyu beef, was a highlight, with Anutin inviting the public to taste the premium meat.

The lively atmosphere continued as Anutin explored more booths, eventually stopping at one offering stir-fried rice with beef. He inquired about the rice's preparation and its availability, learning that it was supplied to hotels and restaurants rather than sold in stores. The event reportedly generated a total trade value of up to 130 billion baht.

Looking ahead, Anutin is scheduled to visit Krabi province on May 31 to lead a merit-making ceremony at Wat Tham Sua alongside local Bhumjaithai Party MPs, including Ms. Sasithorn Kittithornkul, Mr. Kitti Kittithornkul, Mr. Thiradech Tangmanakorn, and Mr. Kittichai Engchuan.
