Anutin Discusses Border Issues with Prime Minister Prayut and Receives Blessings from Supreme Patriarch

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul recently disclosed that he received advice from Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha concerning the ongoing border issue, with the Prime Minister advising patience in handling the situation.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin Charnvirakul, who serves as both the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, shared that he paid his respects to His Holiness Somdej Phra Ariyavongsakhatayan, the Supreme Patriarch. This act was intended to seek blessings for auspiciousness and to offer prayers for the Supreme Patriarch's continued good health. During the ceremony, the Supreme Patriarch sprinkled holy water on those present, which Anutin described as a significant blessing.

Anutin also recounted his meeting with General Prayut Chan-o-cha, a Privy Councillor. General Prayut had previously paid his respects to the Supreme Patriarch, and Anutin took the opportunity to extend New Year wishes to him. During their interaction, General Prayut provided encouragement and shared concerns about the border situation, advising Anutin to exercise patience in managing the issue.

When questioned about potential support from the Privy Council for a future term as Prime Minister, Anutin responded with a smile and shook his head, refraining from commenting further on the matter.
