Anutin Extends New Year Blessings to Ratchasri Team, Urges Swift Service to People

Bangkok: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul met with civil servants of the Ministry of Interior, extending New Year greetings for 2026. Anutin encouraged the ruling party, metaphorically referred to as the "Lions," to serve the people with agility and swiftness in the coming year.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Thanon Niramisit, Chairperson of the Cabinet Spouses Association, and other notable figures such as Ms. Sasithorn Kittithornkul, Deputy Minister of Interior, and Ms. Traisuli Traisaranakul, Secretary to the Prime Minister, were present during the meeting. Mr. Arsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, along with Mrs. Jinnaratch Sampanrat, led a delegation to offer New Year's greetings and receive blessings from Anutin.

Anutin expressed gratitude for the cooperation and support from the Ministry of Interior staff, attributing achievements to their collective efforts. Despite his limited tenure, he noted the excellent collaboration which benefitted the public and earned their trust. He acknowledged the dedication of civil servants in tackling various challenges like floods, droughts, and other crises, emphasizing their commitment to smooth operations despite potential delays.

Anutin urged the Ministry of Interior to continue working swiftly and confidently to alleviate public suffering and promote well-being. He highlighted the importance of cooperation and reiterated that his career advancement was due to the support from his fellow civil servants.

Concluding his address, Anutin wished for the coming year, the Year of the Horse, to be prosperous. He encouraged everyone to embody the agility and swiftness of both horses and lions to serve the people effectively, leaving behind past misfortunes and embracing the new year with positivity.
