Anutin Promises Resolution of Oil Shortage Within a Week

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul announced that the ongoing oil shortage would be resolved within a week. During a press briefing, Charnvirakul confirmed that the new cabinet formation is complete and signaled his approval of Pakorn Karnasuta's appointment as Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs. He declined to comment on the recent 2 baht increase in fuel prices, but assured that measures are being taken to address the fuel shortage promptly.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul discussed the progress of forming the Anutin 2 Cabinet. When questioned about the potential appointment of Pakorn Nilapraphan, Secretary-General of the Council of State, as Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs, Anutin confirmed the appointment with a nod.

Further inquiries regarding the readiness of the new cabinet list for submission to His Majesty the King were met with affirmative nods from the Prime Minister, indicating that the list of cabinet ministers was finalized.

During a recent meeting with fuel operators, the Prime Minister instructed all gas stations to take necessary steps to prevent fuel shortages. However, he refrained from addressing questions about the 2 baht increase in fuel prices, emphasizing instead that the fuel shortage issue would be managed and resolved within one week.
