Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul has successfully resolved the internal conflict regarding the Bhumjaithai Party's committee chairmanship, bringing Mr. Natthachanon Srikornguek back into the fold of the party's MPs' LINE group.
According to Thai News Agency, the situation arose when Mr. Natthachanon, a veteran MP from Songkhla, exited the Bhumjaithai Party's MPs' LINE group on April 28th. This decision came after he discovered through media reports that his name was omitted from the list of candidates for the chairpersons of 14 committees that were allocated to the party.
The resolution unfolded during a House of Representatives meeting on April 29th, where Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul approached Mr. Natthachanon. Anutin patted him on the shoulder, explaining the reasons and necessity for not appointing him as a committee chairman. This gesture and conversation helped Mr. Natthachanon understand the situation, and he confirmed his willingness to continue collaborating with the party.
Following these developments, it was reported that a member of the Bhumjaithai Party's executive committee facilitated Mr. Natthachanon's reinstatement into the party's MPs' LINE group, effectively resolving the issue.
