Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul praised the Bhumjaithai Party for preserving the country's positive aspects, vowing to seek votes from all parties. This comes after Thanathorn suggested that after the election, only the orange and blue factions will remain. He advised all parties to focus on their own policies and avoid belittling other parties or concealing their mistakes.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, commented on Mr. Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, chairman of the Progressive Movement and campaign assistant for the People's Party, who stated that after the election there would be only two political blocs: the orange and blue blocs, and therefore strategic choices should be made to prevent vote splitting. Mr. Anutin responded, as he has previously said, he cannot criticize the opinions of others. He works according to his role, and he never speaks ill of others. He is not worried about the policies of other parties. They compete by implementing good policies for the people. Therefore, confident people do not belittle others. Those who give speeches should talk only about their own issues, but most often they criticize other parties, which Mr. Anutin believes is not beneficial to the people but only serves to cover up their own mistakes or shortcomings.
When asked whether the Bhumjaithai Party, perceived as a conservative party, and whether it was time for conservatives to give their votes to the party, Mr. Anutin said that if the Bhumjaithai Party were a conservative party, he would only be a deputy minister. He added that in his work, once a decision is made, it is made quickly and prioritizes the common good. Conservation is already good for the country, and he never hesitates to make decisions about areas needing development or improvement.
When asked whether those who love the nation, religion, and the monarchy should vote for the Bhumjaithai Party to prevent a split in the vote, Mr. Anutin said that the Bhumjaithai Party is seeking votes from all sides and is confident that the people love the nation, religion, and the monarchy. The Bhumjaithai Party has presented various achievements, even though it was in government for a short period.
