Anutin’s Assets Revealed: A 3.9 Billion Baht Wealth Portfolio

Bangkok: The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has disclosed the asset details of Anutin Charnvirakul and his spouse, revealing a combined net worth of 3.9 billion baht. This sum marks a decrease of over 431 million baht since 2013.

According to Thai News Agency, the NACC released the asset and debt statements pertaining to Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, who resigned from his roles as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior in June 2015. Mr. Anutin and his spouse, Ms. Thananon Niramis, reported total assets amounting to 3,980,144,486 baht against total debts of 5,016,573 baht.

Mr. Anutin’s assets are valued at 3,924,082,912 baht, including deposits exceeding 1 billion baht in 23 accounts, investments worth over 600 million baht, and 15 plots of land valued at over 50 million baht across several regions. His holdings also comprise buildings worth 60 million baht, vehicles valued over 700 million baht, and other valuables such as jewelry and collectibles.

Meanwhile, Ms. Thananon Niramis, who is not officially registered as his spouse but shares a household with Mr. Anutin, declared assets totaling 56,061,573 baht. Her possessions include significant land holdings, a luxury vehicle, and a variety of personal and business assets. Her reported annual income from her businesses is approximately 1,404,700 baht, with expenses surpassing her income.

Ms. Thananon’s personal assets include luxury items such as watches, bags, jewelry, and a firearm, totaling millions in value. Despite her significant wealth, her debts are minimal, primarily consisting of overdrafts.
