Bangkok: The Cabinet has delineated regional inspection responsibilities among Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers. Pipat will oversee the southern Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea, while Sophon is tasked with the Northeast. Bowornsak will manage Songkhla, his hometown, Ekniti will supervise the metropolitan area, and Thammanat will focus on the three southern border provinces and the upper North. Suchat will be responsible for the East, Paradon for the upper Central region, Supamas for the lower North, Naphin for the lower Central region, and Santi for the Phetchabun zone.
According to Thai News Agency, a special Cabinet meeting acknowledged the Prime Minister’s Office order on delegating authority to Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers attached to the Prime Minister’s Office. This order authorized them to act on behalf of the Prime Minister and approved Prime Minister’s Office Order No. 303/2025, enabling them to oversee and monitor regional operations.
Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, is responsible for Inspection Areas 5 and 6. These areas encompass southern provinces along the Gulf of Thailand, such as Chumphon and Nakhon Si Thammarat, and those on the Andaman coast, including Krabi and Phuket.
Deputy Prime Minister Sophon Saram will oversee Inspection Areas 10 to 14, covering various Northeastern regions. These include provinces like Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, and Ubon Ratchathani, among others.
Mr. Bowornsak Uwanno, another Deputy Prime Minister, has been assigned to oversee the performance of duties in Inspection Area 5, specifically focusing on Songkhla Province.
Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, will manage the Central Metropolitan Region, which includes provinces like Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.
Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, will oversee Inspection Areas 7, 15, and 16. These cover the southern border provinces and the upper northern provinces, including Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, will supervise Inspection Areas 8 and 9, which cover Eastern Region provinces such as Chonburi and Chanthaburi.
Mr. Phradon Prisananantakul, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, will oversee Inspection Area 1, which includes upper central region provinces like Lopburi and Ang Thong.
Ms. Supamas Issaraphakdi, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, will manage Inspection Area 18, encompassing Lower Northern Region 2 provinces like Nakhon Sawan and Phichit.
Mr. Napin Srisanpang, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, will supervise Inspection Areas 3 and 4, which cover lower central region provinces such as Kanchanaburi and Phetchaburi.
Lastly, Mr. Santi Piyatat, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, will oversee Inspection Area 17, which includes Lower Northern Region 1 provinces like Phitsanulok and Sukhothai.
