Prime Minister Anutin Submits Urgent Policy Statement to Parliament

Bangkok: Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has taken a significant step by submitting an urgent letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Wan Muhammad Noor Matha. This letter, accompanied by the government’s policy statement, marks the beginning of a crucial phase in governmental proceedings scheduled from September 29, 2025, onwards.

According to Thai News Agency, Police Lieutenant Colonel Aphat Sukhanan, who serves as the Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, disclosed that the Prime Minister has sent this communication as part of the Cabinet’s policy statement to Parliament. The government is set to dispatch a policy booklet along with an electronic version of the Cabinet’s policy statement to Parliament today. This action aligns with the constitutional mandate outlined in Section 162, ensuring that the policy statement is presented to Parliament from the specified date.
