Chanae: The Chief of Staff of the Army and Secretary of the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) presented certificates of commendation and a stone plaque to the graves of Lieutenant Mustakim and Volunteer Asri, who steadfastly performed their duties with the heart of a warrior on the Thai-Cambodian border.

According to Thai News Agency, on January 22, 2026, General Chaiyapruk Duangprapat, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Army and Secretary-General of ISOC, traveled to Chanae District, Narathiwat Province, to present a certificate of commendation and a tombstone (batu na sae) to the families of Lieutenant Mustakim Majehma and Volunteer Defense Corps member Asri Chedo at Lieutenant Mustakim's residence. The atmosphere was one of profound grief, combined with faith and respect for those who sacrificed for the nation.

On this important occasion, the Chief of Staff of the Army/Secretary-General of ISOC praised the courageous deeds of the two soldiers who stood firm in their duty with the heart of a warrior, sacrificing their lives to protect the sovereignty along the Thai-Cambodian border and maintain internal security in Chanae District without wavering, even in the face of danger.
