Chonburi: An arrest warrant has been issued in Myanmar for the murder of a former national tennis player. An arrest warrant has been issued for a former Myanmar employee accused of murdering a former national tennis player at her home in Chonburi province. Evidence of money transfers was found, and investigators are urgently pursuing the suspect to bring him to justice.

According to Thai News Agency, the case involves Mr. Nattawee Sukhantharun, a 64-year-old former Thai national tennis player who was discovered dead in his bedroom on July 26th. Police Colonel Nattapol Phongsukskul, the superintendent of Nong Prue Police Station, confirmed that the death was a murder and not due to natural causes. The police have gathered enough evidence to issue an arrest warrant on charges of "intentional homicide."

Initial investigations reveal that the suspect is a Myanmar national who previously worked at the location where the crime occurred. The suspect had left the area about a month prior to the incident. Although the suspect's name and surname are not disclosed, evidence links him to financial transactions connected to the case. Authorities are actively searching for the suspect in his known residences in Pluak Daeng and Bo Win districts and are extending the search to the Mae Sot border. Coordination efforts with Myanmar authorities are ongoing to facilitate the suspect's capture.
