According to Thai News Agency, in the final leg of the UEFA Champions League League Phase, Premier League leaders Arsenal triumphed over Kairat at the Emirates Stadium. Victor Yokeres opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 3rd minute, but Kairat's striker Jorginho quickly equalized with a penalty in the 7th minute. Arsenal responded with two rapid goals from Kai Havertz in the 15th minute and Martin Martineri in the 38th minute, establishing a 3-1 lead. Although Ricardinho scored for Kairat in stoppage time, it was insufficient to change the outcome.
