According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred at 10:50 AM and involved an AT-6 aircraft. The plane is believed to have crashed in the Huai Muang Fang Sai area, Mae Soi Subdistrict, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province. Authorities are actively conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

The AT-6 TH (Wolverine) aircraft is part of Air Wing 41 and officially entered service on September 4, 2025, with a fleet of eight units.
