Bangkok: "Madam Pang" Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, has successfully coordinated with the organizers to reduce ticket prices for the upcoming semi-finals of the 2026 ASEAN Cup. This adjustment aims to make the matches more accessible to Thai football fans, amidst concerns about the current economic situation.

According to Thai News Agency, the decision comes after observing lower than expected attendance in previous matches. The Rajamangala National Stadium, which has a capacity of 50,000 seats, saw only 16,037 attendees in the match against Malaysia and a further drop to 13,026 against Myanmar. In response, ticket prices for all seating zones have been reduced by 100 baht.

Tickets for the semi-finals will go on sale at ticketmaster.co.th starting Tuesday, August 11th. The revised prices are as follows: Zone W1 and AWAY zone tickets are reduced from 600 baht to 500 baht, Zone E1 from 500 baht to 400 baht, Zones W2-W3 from 400 baht to 300 baht, Zones E2-E3 from 350 baht to 250 baht, and Zone SN from 300 baht to 200 baht.

The Thai national team is scheduled to play the semi-finals against Singapore, with the first leg taking place in Singapore on August 15th, followed by the home game in Bangkok on August 18th. Additionally, Malaysia will face Vietnam in the other semi-final, with matches on August 16th and 19th.
