Bangkok: Attakorn Sirilatthayakon, Minister of Tourism and Sports and registrar of the Kla Tham Party, has confirmed that the 57 votes from Kla Tham are aligned with the party's resolution. He stated that the members are prepared to assume any role, whether in government or opposition, as long as it adheres to reasonable grounds.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Atthakorn addressed queries regarding the potential collaboration with the Bhumjaithai Party, indicating that Captain Thamanat Phromphao, the party's chief advisor, should provide clarification on any deals concerning government formation. Mr. Atthakorn expressed his unawareness of any finalized agreements but reinforced the confidence all 57 party members have in Captain Thamanat's leadership and decision-making.
When questioned about the party's capacity to function effectively in either government or opposition, Mr. Atthakorn reiterated their confidence in the capabilities of Kla Tham Party representatives. He emphasized the party's commitment to opposing with reason and logic, irrespective of their position.
Mr. Atthakorn also commented on the possibility of a meeting upon Captain Thamanat's return from Europe, stating that although he had not communicated with him for a few days and missed him, he did not wish to disturb him.
