Sriracha: Bangchak Corporation Pcl announced on Wednesday that a crude oil tanker from the Middle East has safely arrived at its Sriracha refinery pier after navigating the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Thai News Agency, the arrival ensures a stable supply for the company's refining operations amid ongoing regional volatility. The vessel, carrying 700,000 barrels of crude, reached the terminal on the night of April 7, 2026. Bangchak stated that the shipment is currently being discharged to prepare for the refining process, supporting its commitment to providing a continuous supply of petroleum products to consumers.
The company confirmed that operations at its two facilities-the Phra Khanong and Sriracha refineries-remain on schedule. Bangchak currently maintains crude reserves sufficient for approximately two months of production.
While monitoring the global situation closely, the company remains ready to support government energy security measures and ensure stable procurement despite market fluctuations.
