Bangkok’s Paradise Park Transformed into Cultural Hub for Kaew Na Ma Market

Bangkok: Igniting a Thai fever, the Department of Cultural Promotion and Channel 7HD have transformed a popular shopping mall in the heart of Bangkok into a vibrant cultural hub, creating a "Kaew Na Ma Market" (a traditional Thai market). It was a joyous weekend marking the end of the Chinese New Year festivities, with the Department of Cultural Promotion, in collaboration with Samseian Co., Ltd., a producer of traditional Thai folk dramas for over fifty years, and Seven Star Studio Co., Ltd., the producer of the timeless Thai country music program "Chumthang Daothong" on Channel 7HD, recreating the Mithila Palace at Paradise Park Srinakarin shopping mall. A feel-good, retro-themed market was opened, inviting fans to watch, taste, shop, and explore the world of traditional Thai fairy tales at the "Kaew Na Ma Market" from February 18-22, 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, the market offers an immersive experience into the vibrant atmosphere of a cultural market, ranging from merchandise to culinary delights. It emphasizes not just commercial transactions but the transmission of culinary traditions across generations. The Kaew Na Ma Market highlights a diverse array of goods and food from award-winning restaurants. A standout feature for food enthusiasts is the food zone, certified by the Department of Cultural Promotion, showcasing rare and legendary flavors noted for their exceptional taste.

In addition to the culinary offerings, the event is filled with activities, including cultural performances, folk songs, live Chatrei drama shows, and opportunities to meet stars from the morning drama "Kaew Na Ma" (2026 version), which features a clash with the drama "Dech Asura." The cast includes Det Phi Pin Thong (Mon-Surasak Suwanwong) and Kaew Na Ma (Kukgik-Kochakorn Songsangterm), with support from Komkrit Ekkarat, Natalie Stillat, Papada Prakobsong, and others.

The event also revives the legend of traditional Thai folk drama with an impressive lineup of celebrities from the entertainment industry, including Pai Liu Aphanuch Sangwaributr, Tosapol Himmapan, and Pui Rungtiwa Kongsanun. Artists from Seven Star Records, such as Pimsarawadee Chanin, Pimchanok Liengkatwa, Jessie Alakala, and Millita Jasmine Murray, also performed.
