Bhumjaithai Party Introduces Prospective MP Candidates for Kalasin, Roi Et, and Kanchanaburi

Bangkok: Bhumjaithai continues to be popular. Sopon introduces his prospective MP candidates for Kalasin, Roi Et, and Kanchanaburi. All the big names are coming: Sindhuphrai, Namuangrak, and Kongphet. He highlights his work as a practical person, not a rhetorician.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sophon Saram, Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, welcomed the prospective candidates for the House of Representatives election in Kalasin Province, covering six districts. The candidates are Mr. Thetphaenphaendinthong Tharachai for District 1, Ms. Wanphen Settharaksa for District 2, Mr. Detbordin Payungsaenkun for District 3, Mr. Wirat Phutongchai for District 4, Ms. Phattharaphon Woramitra for District 5, and Ms. Sattabut Bunruang for District 6.

In Roi Et Province, the candidates are Mr. Thanachai Sinthuprai for District 1, Ms. Wasakamon Onprathum for District 2, Mr. Kittisak Lertsirirangsan for District 3, Mr. Niran Namuangrak for District 4, Mr. Chaiwut Iamrasamikun for District 5, Ms. Kavisara Somthap for District 6, Mr. Sakda Kongphet for District 7, and Mr. Thanakrit Chatanulak for District 8.

Additionally, there is a prospective candidate for the Kanchanaburi Provincial Assembly election, District 5, namely Mr. Prawinwat Bunyong.

Mr. Sopon stated that the Bhumjaithai Party has fielded candidates in every constituency in Kalasin and Roi Et provinces and is confident of winning over half of the MP seats in each province. The Bhumjaithai Party previously had one MP in Kalasin, while Roi Et has never previously established a party. However, field visits revealed a warm public response, particularly to policies such as the “Half-Half Plus” program and addressing drug addiction, a major problem in both provinces. The party emphasizes the establishment of drug treatment centers in every district, separating patients, and building public confidence.

Mr. Sopon added that despite being a minority government and having dissolved Parliament as per the MOA, if there are no changes, the Bhumjaithai Party will continue to work hard for the remaining time to demonstrate its performance to the public. Although it will be a four-month interim government, the party is committed to working hard to demonstrate its performance. If the four months are clearly demonstrated, he believes it can return to being a government for four years.
