Bangkok: Bhumjaithai Party is buzzing with activity as three smaller parties support Anutin as Prime Minister. The Bhumjaithai Party is bustling with activity as its prospective MPs attend a meeting. Meanwhile, three smaller parties - the Economy Party, the New Democracy Party, and the New Party - have announced their support for Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister. The Palang Pracharath Party is currently in negotiations.

According to Thai News Agency, at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters today, led by party leader Anutin Charnvirakul, a meeting was held with party leaders and newly elected MPs from all regions following the completion of the election. The unofficial results show the party swept the most seats nationwide, winning a total of 193 seats: 174 constituency seats and 19 party-list seats.

Mr. Anutin arrived at the party headquarters at 1:25 PM. Earlier, several prospective MPs and party leaders arrived continuously, including Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, the prime minister candidate; Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphas; Ms. Supajee Suthamphan; Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn; Mr. Chaiyanok Chidchob; Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi; Mr. Chada Thaiseth; Mr. Suchart Chomklin; Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa; and Mr. Ekanat Promphan.

This includes other political parties expected to join the Bhumjaithai Party in a coalition government, such as Ms. Treenuch Thianthong, leader of the Palang Pracharath Party; General Rangsi Kitiyanasop, leader of the Economic Party; Mr. Suratin Phicharn, leader of the New Democracy Party; and Ms. Nawinda Sawasdechdee, the prime minister candidate of the New Party.

Prior to the joint discussion, Mr. Chaiyanok Chidchob, Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party, and Ms. Nan Bunthida Somchai, party spokesperson, along with Mr. Suratin Phicharn, leader of the New Democracy Party, and Ms. Nawinda Sawasdechdee, the party's prime ministerial candidate, held a joint press conference.

Ms. Nan Bunthida stated that today's joint statement confirms that all three individuals-Mr. Surathin, Ms. Nawinda, and General Rangsi Kitiyanasap, leader of the Economic Party-will support Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, as Prime Minister after the nomination is finalized.

For his part, Mr. Surathin stated that, as the leader of the New Democracy Party, he affirms his unconditional support for Mr. Anutin as Prime Minister, and that he is 100 percent confident in this.

Regarding whether the Palang Pracharath Party will join the government, reporters say that negotiations are still ongoing and there is no written agreement yet.
