Big Cleaning Operation in Khok Sung District: Restoring Homes Damaged by BM-21

Khok sung: The Khok Sung district chief in Sa Kaeo province, along with the Burapha Task Force, conducted a big cleanup and restoration operation in Nong Chan village, addressing the impact of the BM-21 rocket attack. Homeowners expressed gratitude for the assistance and hoped to receive appropriate compensation.

According to Thai News Agency, the District Chief of Khok Sung, Sa Kaeo Province, along with the Burapha Task Force and related agencies, jointly conducted a "big cleaning" operation in Nong Chan village to clean, restore, and assess the damage to houses affected by the BM-21 rocket attack during the Thai-Cambodian border clashes. One of the most severely damaged houses belonged to a local medical professional; the house and its contents, including a car, were almost completely destroyed.

The district chief of Khok Sung revealed that assistance will prioritize homes with severe damage first, before processing the information for compensation according to government regulations. Today, the target areas are Nong Chan, Samet, and Nong Sing villages. He affirmed that they will expedite the process as quickly as possible so that residents can return to their homes as soon as possible.

The homeowner thanked the officials for their assistance, expressing relief that the government had not abandoned them and hoping to receive appropriate compensation.
