Bangkok: 'Big Kung' refutes fake news and harsh words on social media that create division, emphasizing that Thailand needs unity and urging people to stop sharing them.

According to Thai News Agency, General Boonsin Padklang, advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, addressed the issue of misleading messages circulating on social media. Some Facebook pages had posted messages falsely attributed to him, claiming statements such as "Big Kung strongly denies wrongdoing," "Each country is its own," and "We don't accept the 1:200,000 scale map of the bandits."

General Padklang clarified that these statements are untrue and constitute fake news, asserting that he never made such remarks or conducted interviews on these matters. He highlighted the divisive nature of these messages and stressed the importance of unity and harmony in Thailand during this time.

The general urged the public not to believe or share such misinformation, as it could lead to societal division. He reiterated the need for unity and asked people to be cautious about the content they engage with on social media platforms.
