‘Big Pom’ Shakes His Head, Refuses to Join ‘Ung Ing’ Government Again

Bangkok: ‘Big Pom’ shakes his head, denying any plans to rejoin the government with ‘Ung Ing’, as ‘Paiboon’ dismisses rumors as fake news spread for personal advantage.

According to Thai News Agency, Gen Prawit Wongsuwan, leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, addressed the speculation regarding the party’s potential inclusion in the government, replacing the Bhumjaithai Party. When questioned about the likelihood of such a development, Gen Prawit remained silent, simply pursing his lips and shaking his head.

The persistence of reporters, who inquired whether the circulating news was indeed impossible, was met with the same reticence from General Prawit. He refrained from commenting on whether the Palang Pracharath Party would categorically not collaborate with the Pheu Thai Party, choosing instead to swiftly depart from the Palang Pracharath Party premises.

In contrast, Mr. Paiboon Nititawan, secretary-general of the Palang Pracharath Party, categorically denied the rumors of the party’s potential government collaboration replacing the Bhumjaithai Party. He labeled the news as fake, asserting it was propagated for personal gain, and firmly assured that there would be no return to the government.
