According to Thai News Agency, on December 20, 2025, General Chaiyapruk Duangprapat, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Army, revealed the latest developments regarding the clashes in the area of Prasat Ta Kwai and Hill 350 in Surin Province, where heavy fighting has taken place for several days. This has resulted in the deaths of two soldiers, whose bodies have not yet been recovered from the area.

Most recently, on December 20th, military units operating in the area discovered the bodies of the two soldiers. They are currently conducting a cautious investigation of the area, as there is a possibility that the Cambodian side may have planted explosive devices nearby.

General Chaiyapruk confirmed that arrangements would be made to return the bodies of the two soldiers to their hometowns for a dignified funeral ceremony.
