Bangkok: Buakaw Banchamek, the renowned Thai boxer, has taken a bold step by visiting a rare durian orchard to reclaim high-quality durians for the Thai people. His initiative involves the direct import of export-grade Musang King and Black Thorn durians, ensuring that Thais can enjoy these premium fruits at fair prices.
According to Thai News Agency, Buakaw orchestrated a deal with the orchard to secure the world's leading fruit, famously known as the "King of Fruits," for local consumption. Under the vision of OH! Food, Buakaw emphasized the importance of bringing premium varieties like 'Musang King' and 'Black Thorn' (Grade A) to Thailand, as these are typically 100% exported, leaving Thai people with limited access to experience their taste.
Buakaw personally handpicked each durian, ensuring that the finest produce reaches the Thai market first. His goal is to provide fair pricing for both farmers and consumers, while also eliminating middlemen. This effort is aimed at allowing Thais to truly savor the internationally acclaimed taste of these top-tier durians.
