CAAT Summarizes Relief Measures from Airlines During Flooding

Hat yai: CAAT issues warnings to passengers entering and exiting Hat Yai Airport and outlines relief measures from airlines during the flooding situation.

According to Thai News Agency, due to the flooding in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, with high water levels in several areas, travel to and from Hat Yai Airport may be difficult. Government passenger shuttles, especially those provided by government agencies, may be unavailable at certain times, potentially impacting passenger convenience. The CAAT is requesting passengers to consider the necessity of travel during the unstable water situation. If traveling to Hat Yai, be sure to have someone to meet you at the airport. If departing from Hat Yai, allow significant additional time for travel, as some routes remain flooded. Please monitor the latest developments from your airline to avoid being stranded at the airport, where food, drinking water, and waiting areas may be limited.
