According to Thai News Agency, the 2nd Army Region reported that at approximately 10:20 AM, a 40mm grenade was fired and landed near a Thai operational base in Kantaralak District, Sisaket Province. Fortunately, no personnel were injured in the incident.
Following the incident, the Thai side has prepared to handle the situation and is ready to comply with the rules of the use of force. The incident has been reported to the Cambodian commanders in the area. The Cambodian side acknowledged that it was a disciplinary issue among the new troops stationed in the area and assured that they have already warned and instructed their personnel accordingly.
