Pathum thani: Captain Thamanat Phromphao, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Kla Tham Party and Prime Minister candidate, visited Pathum Thani Province as part of his campaign efforts to support four parliamentary candidates.

According to Thai News Agency, Captain Thamanat's visit was aimed at addressing key issues such as water management, rice production, and the rising cost of living, which have been affecting the local community.

Captain Thamanat's itinerary included visits to sacred sites and local markets, where he engaged with residents to understand their economic challenges. He emphasized the need for sustainable solutions to water-related issues, highlighting the impact of droughts and floods on rice farming, a primary occupation in the region. The campaign, dubbed "Kla Tham" or "Dare to Righteousness," seeks to field candidates who are deeply connected to the community and committed to addressing these local challenges.

During his visit, Captain Thamanat paid respects at Wat Buakaew Kesar and the sacred Buddha image, Luang Pho Dam, before heading to the Rahang 100-Year-Old Market. The market, a crucial economic hub, served as a platform for Captain Thamanat to interact with vendors and residents, many of whom shared concerns about economic hardships. He assured them of the Kla Tham Party's dedication to resolving issues of water management and agricultural production.

In addition to visiting markets and sacred sites, Captain Thamanat campaigned for the party's candidates, Mr. Nopporn Khaokham, Mr. Chayut Sinpoonpak, Ms. Airin Phanrit, and Ms. Patchisa Patchirathareerat. He expressed confidence in the candidates' ability to understand and resolve local problems, emphasizing their genuine connection to the community and long-term commitment beyond the campaign season.

The day concluded with Captain Thamanat visiting Rangsit Market and Lad Sawai Market, followed by a speech at Na Thong Market to bolster support for Ms. Airin Phanrit. The campaign activities were marked by lively interactions, with vendors and residents voicing concerns about rising living costs and decreased purchasing power.
