Central Pattana Announces 1.7 Billion Baht Renovation of Pinklao Branch

Bangkok: Central Pattana Public Company Limited is making a significant investment of over 1.7 billion baht to renovate its Central Pinklao shopping mall. The renovation aims to transform the mall from a retail landmark into a premier destination in western Bangkok, taking advantage of the area's urban expansion, robust infrastructure, and affluent consumer base.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattakit Tangpolsinthana, Chief Marketing Officer of Central Pattana Public Company Limited, explained that the renovation project is designed to redefine Central Pinklao from a mere shopping mall to a district leader. This transformation is in line with the ongoing growth in urban infrastructure, transportation, housing, and purchasing power, as well as changes in consumer lifestyles. The project is centered around three main themes: district leadership, evolution, and commitment to future generations.

Ms. Chutatham Chirathivat, Managing Director of Business Development at Central Pattana, highlighted that the renovation includes the introduction of new brands, innovative space design, and an enhanced brand mix experience. This is intended to connect people and promote sustainable growth in tandem with the city. Data from The 1 indicates that Central Pinklao has a significant portion of affluent customers, with 5% being The 1 Exclusive members. These customers boast the highest monthly spending per person, averaging 5 million baht, ranking third in Bangkok and fifth nationwide. The renovation has been well-received, attracting approximately 80,000 visitors daily.
