Bangkok: Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, leader of the Rak Chart Party, has called on the Prime Minister to caution ministers against inaction during the transitional phase awaiting the establishment of a new government. He highlighted concerns about potential threats to public safety and economic stability, stressing the urgency of addressing issues such as online scams and rising violence.

According to Thai News Agency, Chaiwut emphasized that the current political climate, marked by intense ministerial negotiations, should not overshadow the immediate safety crises affecting the public both on the streets and online. He pointed to recent incidents involving mentally unstable individuals in regions like Songkhla, warning that similar occurrences could arise in Nonthaburi and Suphan Buri.

Chaiwut expressed concern over the resurgence of scammer gangs and online fraud, particularly following a period of relative calm after border conflicts were resolved. He criticized the inactive stance of some ministers, suggesting that criminals have exploited the situation to target the public through online scams.

Chaiwut urged the Prime Minister to remind acting ministers and civil servants of their ongoing responsibilities, stressing that they possess the authority to address pressing public issues despite political negotiations. He called for swift action to alleviate the public's difficulties, emphasizing that citizen welfare should take precedence over political bargaining.
