Chang – Royal Thai Air Force Summer Youth Golf Training Program 2026 Launches with 200 Young Golfers

Bangkok: "Chang - Royal Thai Air Force" continues its 18th year of nurturing Thai golf talent, organizing summer camps to create a pathway to professional golf. "Chang Natural Mineral Water," in partnership with the Royal Thai Air Force Youth Golf Training Center, has launched the 18th annual "Chang - Royal Thai Air Force" summer golf training program for youth in 2026. The initiative aims to enhance the skills and potential of Thai youth through scholarships and the selection of promising young golfers to join the "Chang Thailand Junior Golf Clinic 2026" training camp.

According to Thai News Agency, the event was honored by the presence of Air Chief Marshal Chatinon Sathanphai, Chairman of the Don Mueang Air Force Sports Center Subcommittee and Head of the Working Group for the 'Chang - Royal Thai Air Force' Summer Youth Golf Training Program. Also in attendance were Air Chief Marshal Phithoon Charoenyong, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Armed Forces; Air Chief Marshal Ninat Mulchanabat, Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee; Air Vice Marshal Saranyapong Dechklahan, Head of the Don Mueang Air Force Sports Center Subcommittee Office; Air Vice Marshal Kitcha Somthip, Secretary of the Don Mueang Air Force Golf Course Management Subcommittee; Mr. Phasaworn Peetrangsi, Senior Project Manager, ThaiBev Thai Talent Program, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (Chang Natural Mineral Water); and Mr. Rojanasit Meenichsin, Assistant Director of Sports, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (Chang Natural Mineral Water), along with other distinguished guests. The opening ceremony of the 2026 'Chang - Royal Thai Air Force' Summer Youth Golf Training Program took place at Thupatemi Golf Course on March 23, 2026, with a total of 200 young golfers participating in the training.

Air Chief Marshal Chatinon Sathanphai highlighted that this year marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between the Royal Thai Air Force Youth Golf Training Center and Chang Natural Mineral Water. The program offers young individuals aged 9-17 the chance to develop their golf skills during the school break, focusing on foundational techniques and essential golf skills. Experienced coaches will guide the participants, with a curriculum tailored to each age group, covering fundamentals, short game, and game planning. The program aims to build physical and mental readiness, paving the way for higher-level competition and potential careers as professional golfers.

Mr. Phasaworn Peetrangsi emphasized Chang Natural Mineral Water's commitment to supporting and elevating the Thai golf industry sustainably. This year, the company is donating 600,000 baht to the training center for the continued development of youth golfers. The collaboration with the Royal Thai Air Force Youth Golf Training Center has been ongoing for 18 years, demonstrating a dedication to fostering young talent.

The program has successfully developed over 2,800 young golfers, with many advancing to higher levels of competition and becoming leading professional golfers in Thailand. Notable alumni include "Pro Fever" Nitithorn Tippong, a three-time Asian Tour champion; "Pro Ter" Pisitchai Tippong; "Pro Mark" Panuwit Onjoo; and "Nong Kathi" Ngamphan Chantana, a rising star who is preparing for further studies in the United States.

Outstanding young golfers will have the opportunity to earn 20 scholarships from Chang Natural Mineral Water. Additionally, top performers in the 13-17 age group will be selected for the 'Chang Thailand Junior Golf Clinic 2026.'
