Bangkok: Coach Wang Thawatchai Damrong-ongtrakul, head coach of the Thai U-23 national team, is optimistic about his team's participation in a series of friendly matches in China. He sees these games as an opportunity for the team to gain valuable experience ahead of the upcoming Asian Games. According to Thai News Agency, Coach Wang took part in a press conference before the CFA Team China International Youth Tournament Xi'an. He also visited the Xi'an International Football Center, where the matches will take place. Coach Wang expressed his enthusiasm about bringing the Thai U-23 team back to China for friendly matches, following a similar experience in October last year. The tournament features strong teams such as the host nation China, Vietnam, and North Korea, which Coach Wang believes will provide a valuable experience for his team. The Thai U-23 national team is set to undergo another training session today at 3:30 PM Thailand time. Their match schedule includes a game against China on March 25th at 6:35 PM, followed by a match against Vietnam on March 28th at 2:00 PM, and concluding with a match against North Korea on March 31st at 2:00 PM, all in Thailand time.
