Bangkok: Chatchart Sittipunt, a candidate for Bangkok Governor, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he received throughout his 24-hour campaign tour across the city. Despite limited sleep, Chatchart shared that he was invigorated by the energy and enthusiasm of Bangkok's residents, especially the youth, who joined in cheering for his campaign. He emphasized his commitment to a constructive campaign approach and urged the city's residents to vote decisively in the upcoming election.

According to Thai News Agency, Chatchart, who is candidate number 9, and his "Bangkok Working" team commenced their campaign tour with the goal of visiting all 50 districts in Bangkok. The current focus of their tour is on the southern areas of the city, including Thonburi. As the election on June 28th approaches, the team aims to engage with as many residents as possible.

During their tour, Chatchart paid a visit to the monument of King Taksin the Great at Wongwian Yai roundabout to seek blessings before proceeding to the Rat Burana area. He took time to inspect damage caused by a collapsed advertising sign due to a recent storm, addressing the concerns of local residents affected by the incident.

In a media interview at Thonburi Fresh Market, Chatchart outlined his campaign activities, having already covered 27 districts. He noted the palpable enthusiasm among the public and expressed confidence in a significant voter turnout. He plans to focus on the districts of Dusit, Phaya Thai, and Samsen-Ratchathewi in the coming days, culminating his campaign at Siam Square, emphasizing its economic and social significance.

Chatchart highlighted that his campaign prioritized policy over personal attacks, aiming to offer tangible benefits to the public. Despite the demanding schedule, he felt motivated by the support, especially from young people eager to contribute to the city's future.

Addressing his decision to end the campaign at Siam Square, Chatchart emphasized its role as a central hub for both economic activities and youth engagement. He reiterated the importance of the city's economic and educational development, seeing Siam Square as symbolic for the potential transformation of Bangkok.

Regarding his independent candidacy, Chatchart stated his respect for all viewpoints, affirming that his independence allows him to collaborate with diverse parties. He maintains that the people's interests will always be his guiding principle.
