Chayanan Replaced by Rawiwan as Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment

Bangkok: Chayanan Phakdijit has been removed from her position as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, with Rawiwan Phuridet appointed as her successor.

According to Thai News Agency, the decision was announced by Ms. Ayrin Phanrit, Deputy Government Spokesperson, following a Cabinet meeting. Ms. Rawiwan Phuridet, who is currently the Director of the National Land Policy Committee Office, will now assume the role of Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), replacing Ms. Chayanan Phakdijit.

Reporters highlighted that Ms. Chayanan was appointed to the position of Permanent Secretary on July 29, 2015, succeeding Mr. Chatuporn Buruspat, who resigned to become the Minister of Commerce in Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra’s government. Ms. Chayanan’s tenure lasted approximately three months.
