Bangkok: Chelsea have officially signed Morgan Rogers, the England international midfielder from Aston Villa, on a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, until 2032, with an option to extend for a further year.

According to Thai News Agency, Aston Villa have agreed to sell Rogers to Chelsea for a record-breaking £117 million (approximately 5,148 million baht) for an English player. This transaction surpasses the previous record set by Elliott Anderson, who moved from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City for £116 million (approximately 5,104 million baht). Additionally, it sets a new record for Chelsea, breaking the previous record set by Moises Caicedo, who transferred from Brighton for £115 million (approximately 5,060 million baht) in 2023.
