Khon kaen: Children in Khon Kaen participated in National Children's Day activities by singing the national anthem to encourage soldiers serving on the border. This year's celebration, held on January 10, took place at the 8th Infantry Regiment, Siha Ratchadechachai Camp, where Colonel Suphonthep Chaiyong, Commander of the 8th Infantry Regiment, presided over the event.
According to Thai News Agency, the activities aimed to foster unity and civic duty among young participants. Children engaged in drawing, coloring, and writing messages of encouragement alongside their national anthem performance. These expressions of support provided a morale boost to soldiers committed to protecting the nation. The event also included skill-enhancing activities and games with prizes contributed by adults from different sectors, ensuring the children had a joyful experience.
The National Children's Day 2026 slogan, announced by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, is "Love Thailand, Care for the World." This message is intended to inspire Thai children and youth to become quality citizens with a sense of national pride and responsibility towards the environment, society, and the global community.
