Beijing: The spokesperson for the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) emphasized the importance of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence between China and the United States. The spokesperson highlighted the need for both countries to benefit from each other.

According to Thai News Agency, Lou Qinjian, speaking ahead of the NPC session, underscored China's willingness to enhance communication with the United States at various levels. This effort aims to create opportunities for bilateral cooperation. Lou's remarks were made during a press conference prior to the opening of the conference, which is scheduled for Thursday.

Lou also reiterated China's commitment to its core principles, emphasizing that the nation remains steadfast in protecting its sovereignty, security, and developmental interests.
