Chinese Ambassador Donates Flood Relief Fund in Southern Thailand, Emphasizing Strong Friendship Between Thailand and China

Bangkok: The Chinese ambassador has donated over 30 million baht to flood relief efforts in the South, reinforcing the close friendship between Thailand and China and expressing confidence in the swift recovery under Prime Minister Anutin’s leadership. The Prime Minister thanked the Chinese government and affirmed that the aid funds will be used to support the people and the southern economy in a prompt, transparent, and fair manner.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul received a donation from Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Zhang Jianwei, who led a delegation to present a donation to assist flood victims in southern Thailand.

The Chinese Ambassador stated that recently, floods in southern Thailand, particularly Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, have caused significant damage to personnel and property. China has been closely monitoring the situation and expresses concern for the people of southern Thailand.
