Bangkok: Channel 9 and MV TV (Thailand) Co., Ltd. have announced the debut of the popular Chinese series, "The Heir to the Throne," now available on Youku. This series is a co-production between Youku Information Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Media Asia Television Program Production (Hong Kong) Limited and is directed by Xie Ying and Liang Jia Su. It airs every Monday through Friday at 11:00 PM, featuring a cast that includes Charmaine Sheh, Lin Feng, Luo Zhongxian, Xu Shaosong, Chen Jing, Luo Jialing, and Yu An'an.

According to Thai News Agency, the series follows Qiu Hao'er, the eldest granddaughter of the Qiu family, who is determined to inherit the family fortune despite being neglected by her grandfather, Qiu Hanyang. Despite the family's preference for male heirs, Qiu Hao'er is unexpectedly appointed as the acting president of the family group when her grandfather falls ill. Her journey is fraught with challenges as she faces opposition from her uncle, Qiu Shouyi, and her cousin, Qiu Zibin. With the assistance of her ex-boyfriend, lawyer Gao Jin, she proves her legitimacy as the acting chairman, only for her grandfather to pass away and leave a will favoring her uncle and cousin. As the story unfolds, viewers are drawn into the ensuing family intrigue and the revelation of Qiu Zibin's true identity.
