According to Thai News Agency, many individuals at the market expressed their commitment to voting for the Democrat Party, affectionately referred to as "the party of the grandfather" in Southern Thailand. This nickname reflects the party's longstanding influence and the generational loyalty it commands in the area. Throughout the campaign, Chuan Leekpai utilized a microphone and small speakers to highlight his past accomplishments and outline his vision for Trang's future, particularly focusing on combating vote-buying practices in the southern region.

The Democrat Party plans to further solidify its campaign efforts with a major rally scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 4:30 PM in front of the old provincial hall in Trang. The rally will feature prominent party figures, including party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, Chuan Leekpai, Satit Wongnongteuy, Juri Numkaew, and the four parliamentary candidates representing Trang province.
