Chuan Leekpai Leads Democrat Party’s Dynamic Campaign in Chonburi and Rayong

Chonburi: Chuan Leekpai, former leader of the Democrat Party, spearheaded a vibrant market campaign in Chonburi and Rayong, marking a potential resurgence for the party. Riding in a parade float, Chuan, accompanied by Mr. Sathit Pitutecha, deputy leader of the party, and a team of candidates, engaged with the public throughout the day.

According to Thai News Agency, the campaign kicked off in Chonburi with morning meetings and small rallies at Bang Sai Market in District 2, moving on to the Bo Thong Municipal Market in District 4. The public warmly received the party's work plan and policies, with the parade through the municipality drawing significant attention and reflecting heightened political engagement in the region.

In the afternoon, the campaign moved to Rayong province, where the delegation met the public at major markets in Khao Chamao and Klaeng districts. The lively atmosphere saw people showing support, offering flowers, and engaging in discussions about local issues. The campaign vehicle's journey along main routes further amplified the party's presence.

Chuan and Sathit also met with village health volunteers in Khao Chamao District, commending their vital role in Thailand's public health system. Their interactions emphasized appreciation for these "frontline warriors" and the importance of community health care.

Evening rallies in Rayong city, including walk-throughs at the Night Star Plaza market, highlighted the Democrat Party's regained popularity. Many supporters voiced their trust in the party's principled, honest approach and expressed hope for its role in addressing national challenges and driving progress.
