Helsingborg: The "Chulada Choir" from Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School, Secondary Division, has achieved a significant milestone by winning a gold medal in the Youth Choirs of Equal Voices category and a silver medal in the Sacred Choral Music a cappella category at the 2026 World Choir Games in Helsingborg, Sweden. This prestigious event is recognized as the world's foremost choral competition. The Chulada Choir's triumph marks a historic first for Thailand, as they are the inaugural team from the country to secure a gold medal in the secondary school category, showcasing the exceptional talent and commitment of Thai youth on the international stage.

According to Thai News Agency, following their success at the competition, the Chulada Choir furthered their mission as cultural ambassadors of Thailand through music by performing a special concert titled "Stj¤rnljus - Chulada Choir Live in Stockholm" at Sophia Church in Stockholm, Sweden, on August 18, 2026. The concert featured an array of songs, blending international classical pieces with traditional Thai melodies, reflecting the rich cultural identity of Thailand. The choir's harmonious performance served as a cultural bridge, uniting Thai and international audiences. The event was supported by the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm and attended by members of the International Women's Club, representatives from various organizations, the Friends of Thailand network, and the Thai community in Sweden, who gathered in large numbers to express their support.
