Bangkok: Chulalongkorn University recently hosted The INTANIA Forum, focusing on strategies for surviving in a rapidly changing global landscape.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul led the forum's opening, emphasizing the need to navigate an increasingly chaotic world. He described the current global situation as unstable and lacking structure, urging Thailand to develop strategies to cope with economic and geopolitical changes. Anutin highlighted the unpredictability of the future, asserting that the only certainty is the rapid pace of change. He stressed the importance of self-reliance in the face of challenges such as geopolitical tensions, environmental issues, technological advancements, and demographic shifts.

Professor Dr. Vilelert Poorivachara, President of Chulalongkorn University, addressed the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the economy and education. He argued that the university's primary mission is to foster "inventing intelligence" rather than merely competing with AI. Dr. Vilelert emphasized the importance of collaboration across sectors to establish a new world order and economy, ultimately aiming to enhance the quality of life for Thai citizens and position them as global leaders.
