Sisaket: The Suranaree Task Force organized the "Conquering Phu Makheua" cycling event, drawing hundreds of cyclists to the picturesque Phu Makheua in Kantaralak District. The event aimed to promote tourism in Sisaket by showcasing the scenic beauty of the area, notably the Phra Phutthabarami Siam Buriram monument.
According to Thai News Agency, the event saw participants cycling over 6 kilometers to the summit of Phu Makheua, where they were greeted by breathtaking views. The finish line was at the Phra Phutthabarami Siam Buripitak viewpoint, a prominent scenic spot that provided a rewarding backdrop for the cyclists.
After completing the challenging ride, participants took the opportunity to rest and photograph the memorable scenery at the top of Phu Makheua mountain, enjoying the fresh air and camaraderie. Military personnel were present at various locations to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
Lieutenant Colonel Chakrit Khurirang, Commander of the 11th Infantry Battalion and Task Force 1, Suranaree Force, played a key role in coordinating the event. He assigned personnel to provide security and assistance throughout the day, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for everyone involved.
