Bangkok: Da Endorphine has issued an apology for having to abruptly postpone a scheduled performance after suffering from an allergic reaction to PM 2.5 dust, which led to a throat infection. The singer’s doctor has advised her to refrain from using her voice for five days to allow for recovery.
According to Thai News Agency, Da Endorphine expressed her apologies to both event organizers and fans for the sudden change in schedule. The allergy to the PM 2.5 dust caused a throat infection characterized by hoarseness, a sore throat, and severe coughing, leaving her unable to perform. Her doctors have recommended complete vocal rest for at least five days to prevent the condition from worsening or becoming chronic.
On December 4, 2015, Da Endorphine took to her personal Instagram to share the news, posting a photo with a heartfelt message. She conveyed her regret and explained the situation, stating, “Apologies to the event organizers and fans once again. ???? Due to the current PM dust conditions, I’ve had allergic reactions and throat infections, resulting in a hoarse voice and severe coughing. I apologize to the organizers. Due to this voice treatment, the event has been postponed. Da and her team will arrange a new performance date as soon as possible… and will get well soon to return to singing for you all again.”
The announcement prompted an outpouring of support and encouragement from fans and industry colleagues, who sent their well-wishes for her swift recovery.
