Democrat Party Releases Engaging Video to Attract Young Voters

Bangkok: In the final stretch of the campaign, the Democrat Party released a video titled "Two Blue Cards," inviting young people to "guess the word" and appealing for votes for both the constituencies and the party. In the final, intense stages of the election campaign, the Democrat Party, led by party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, has shifted its campaign strategy. They released short, fun, and engaging videos on social media to appeal to all ages, especially young people, in order to garner votes for the February 8th, 2026 election.

According to Thai News Agency, the video clip, approximately 12 seconds long, opens with footage of Mr. Abhisit bowing, accompanied by the words "The Final Stretch," before the scene changes to a mime performance featuring the holding of two blue teapots, the party's color, with the words "Party" and "District" written on them.

Then, Mr. Abhisit used leaves to make a cross sign, emphasizing "two crosses," and displayed the message "February 8, 2069," the election day. He concluded with an image of a teapot and two crossed leaves, accompanied by a riddle: "Two crosses, one for the district (green) and one for the party (pink)," a direct message urging voters to cast their ballots for both the district candidate and the Democrat Party in the upcoming election.
