Bangkok: The Democrat Party visited the Sammakorn market, showcasing its key policies for Children's Day, emphasizing the elimination of poverty. Mr. Ongart Klamphaiboon, advisor to the leader of the Democrat Party, and Mr. Sakoltee Phatthiyakul, deputy leader of the Democrat Party in charge of the Bangkok area, along with the party's candidate for Bangkok Constituency 19, Ms. Karn Woradornworawisarn, campaigned in the Saphan Sung district, specifically at the Sammakorn Market, on National Children's Day. The Democrat Party continues its aggressive campaigning, reaching every square meter and every street, every alley, and every morning and evening market without interruption.

According to Thai News Agency, the Democrat Party is regaining public trust with a host of impactful policies just in time for Children's Day. These policies aim to address the lack of knowledge and provide education that meets life's needs, including: "Education Buffet," "Learn what you want to learn," "Truly free education," "Job placement to repay student loans," and "English for all." These initiatives will empower Thai children and sustainably resolve inequality. Ongart and Sakolthee are campaigning in Constituency 19, covering the Saphan Sung and Sammakorn market areas.

Mr. Sakoltee Phatthiyakul expressed confidence in the public's support for the Democrat Party. During the visit to Saphan Sung and Sammakorn markets, many people approached him, expressing their joy and welcoming back party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, Mr. Korn Chatikavanij, and Ms. Kardee Leowpairoj, among others. Loyal supporters reiterated their commitment to voting for the Democrat Party in the upcoming elections.

On Children's Day 2026, Mr. Sakoltee emphasized the importance of nurturing children's full potential. He urged parents to recognize the significance of the upcoming election in laying the foundation for the youth and children's quality growth, who are the nation's future.

Regarding the Democrat Party's education policy for Thai children, Mr. Sakoltee highlighted that the party has selected realistic and achievable policies to address the recipients' needs. This policy falls under the third pillar: overcoming intellectual poverty and providing life-saving education. The policy package includes an "education buffet," allowing students to study according to their interests, and a flexible curriculum enabling credit accumulation through the Credit Bank and Skill Wallet systems.

Additionally, the Democrat Party's policies focus on truly free education, eliminating hidden costs, and providing necessary funding to small schools. The job placement policy helps students repay loans through community service or elderly care. Other policies, such as English for All, Learn to Earn, and the National Digital Learning Platform (NDLP), aim to reduce inequality, utilize AI for personalized learning, and prepare children with future job market skills.

Mr. Sakoltee expressed confidence that these policies are achievable, address the needs of all children, and have minimal impact on the government budget, enabling Thai children to compete globally and providing a sustainable solution to inequality.
