Dr. Jetsada Leads Rak Chart Party’s Traditional Outing in Phuket

Phuket: Dr. Jetsada led the Rak Chart Party team to Phuket, wearing traditional "Baba" attire, to pay respects at Wat Chalong temple, seek blessings from Luang Pho Chaem, release eels, and ask for forgiveness from those they may have wronged.

According to Thai News Agency, the Rak Chart Party, led by its prime ministerial candidate, Mr. Jetsada Tonawanik, along with a party team, visited Phuket Province. They traveled to Wat Chaiyatharam (Wat Chalong) to pay respects to Luang Pho Chaem, a revered Buddha image and symbol of Phuket, seeking blessings and good fortune. They also released eels and catfish to seek forgiveness for any past transgressions.

Today's field visit focused on meeting with residents in the seaside community of Rassada Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phuket Province. Mr. Jetsada Tonawanik and the Rak Chart Party team added a touch of color by wearing the traditional Baba Nyonya costume, a unique cultural symbol of Phuket, reflecting their appreciation and importance of local traditions. They discussed with villagers the issue of not amending the constitution, a topic that garnered significant interest from the local community.

The Rak Chart Party's campaign rally today received a very positive response from Phuket residents and tourists. Many fans and members of the public came to show their support and took photos with Mr. Jetsada and the party team in a friendly manner. The party team emphasized their intention to serve the people as a new, small party without wealthy donors, under the slogans "Because love for the nation is not just words" and "Vote for Rak Chart, protect the nation."
