Bangkok: The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy inspected the combat readiness of the Marine Corps Task Force, emphasizing that this is a year of combat readiness and preparedness for security missions and assisting the public.

According to Thai News Agency, Rear Admiral Parach Rattanachaiyapan, spokesperson for the Royal Thai Navy, revealed that Admiral Pairoj Fuengchan, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, visited and inspected the operations and combat readiness of the Royal Thai Marine Corps Task Force to follow up on the implementation of the "Year of Combat Readiness of the Royal Thai Navy" policy, aiming for tangible results at the operational unit level.

During this visit, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy received a briefing on the mission, readiness of personnel and equipment, training, and capabilities in responding to emerging security situations and threats, particularly hybrid and grey zone operations, area control, operational deterrence, and joint missions with relevant security agencies.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy emphasized lessons learned from the current security situation, which reflects the necessity for frontline units to maintain continuous combat readiness and be able to act immediately upon orders in security missions, defending sovereignty, and controlling unrest.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy also praised and thanked the personnel of the Marine Corps Task Force for their strong and selfless performance in assisting the public during the recent floods in the southern region. This reflects the readiness, professionalism, and the naval spirit of standing by the people in all situations.

The Royal Thai Navy is committed to developing the capabilities of its Marine Corps Task Force to achieve true combat readiness, while simultaneously preparing to assist the public in the event of disasters or unrest, for national security and to protect the people in five districts of Narathiwat province.
