the Public, Fraud of the Public, the Computer Act, and Money Laundering.
Sittra or Lawyer Tum said that the team of lawyers had gathered to volunteer to help the people. Today, they brought more than 100 victims and it is expected that the number of victims will continue to increase. Today, the tasks were divided up, with each lawyer taking care of about 10 victims, starting from the day the complaint was filed until the case went to court or compensation was received. The intention of coming today is to help those who are suffering, so they consulted with the group of lawyers because they were afraid that there would be a transfer of assets, causing the victims to not receive their money back. In addition, yesterday, I watched the program Hon Krasae where ‘Boss Paul’ cried like it was causing drama, but when I watched another program on The Standard, he still did not accept responsibility. It also showed the nature of Boss Paul’s legal battle, trying to throw the cases to the main network. Therefore, if the
main network thinks that they will suffer, hurry up and tell the information to the police. Otherwise, the main network will become a scapegoat, just like his slogan that he will not leave anyone behind because he will make them all suspects.
Lawyer Decha said that the latest progress in the case is that he has learned that the mastermind has attempted to record a clip to intimidate witnesses, claiming that they will sue back and threatening that if anyone comes to file a complaint, they will all be sent to jail.
Lawyer Ronnarong said that his foundation has collected about 1,200 victims. Around the middle of 2014, about 3 victims of The Icon Group Co., Ltd. came to consult with him at the foundation and recorded the incident. Then, before the case, the group of victims informed him that the company would clear half of the money back, but there was a coordination fee of 7 figures and there was also a hired mediator. does not dare to seize the assets of the offenders like the DSI. If they want to seize the assets, they have to transfer the case to the DSI. He would like to tell the people who are afraid not to be afraid. One reason that he has never seen news about this company is because there is a document from the Consumer Protection Board that this case is not their area of ??work, making it a civil case. He would like the police to check the past 5 years to see if every police station has a case that has come to file a complaint with the company.
Mr. Ekkapop said that he had brought people who had worked behind the scenes for the company to give information to the police because he had confidence in the Commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau. Mr. Ekkapop continued that he would like to ask the senior government officials, both the previous and current governments, to stop their actions of demanding benefits and not to be the front to contact and resolve various problems instead. Mr. A (pseudonym), a key witness who used to work for The Icon Group Company Limited and oversee the back-end system, revealed that he has information and will give it to the authorities to investigate the financial trail with a certain person called an angel.
As for how the money is paid, the witness stated that it is paid as a percentage. Throughout the past period, tens of billions of baht have been paid since 2020. There are many angels and the angels will protect 4 main agencies: the Consumer Protection Board, the Consumer Protection Police Division, the DSI, and the Technology Crime Suppression Division. The angels are the ones who allocate the money to each agency themselves, but the angels do not receive it directly, which will be another factor.
