Security officers in Mueang Chanthaburi District arrested a Ketamine dealer and expanded the investigation to raid a drug party at a luxury resort, arresting 30 teenagers who were using drugs. Officers raided a drug party at a pool villa in Laem Sing District, Chanthaburi Province, and found a group of 30 teenagers partying on drugs. The results of the search found 24 people using drugs, evidence of ketamine, many empty bags of drugs, and one firearm seized. This operation was carried out because Mueang Chanthaburi District received a tip from a good citizen that Mr. Decha was someone who had a history of drug involvement. While Mr. Decha was about to go to a restaurant on Tha Chalop Road, the Mueang Chanthaburi District Chief planned to send security officers to inspect the restaurant. After searching, it was discovered that 35 sacks of methamphetamine pills were hidden inside the furniture, each sack wrapped in four layers of plastic bags to prevent the smel l. Initial findings were that 200,000 methamphetamine pills per sack, totaling seven million pills, were contained. Four Thai suspects were taken into custody along with a pickup truck before contacting police forensic officers from Ang Thong Province to collect forensic evidence. Police officers were able to track down and arrest the network in U Thong District, Suphan Buri Province, before expanding the investigation to arrest the drug storage area, which led to the arrest. Pol. Col. Suwicha Channgam, acting chief of Wichian Chai Chan police station, revealed that this drug network used a method of hiding methamphetamine in furniture in a truck from the north and stopping at the aforementioned location before preparing to distribute it to various locations by cutting it out of armchairs and furniture, but was arrested by police officers working together.
